PTSA- Parent Teacher Student Association- an important part of Newport.

By joining the PTSA, you are supporting students and teachers with your membership donation. By becoming involved with volunteering for school needs, and attending PTSA meetings parents can have a greater understanding of what opportunities NHS offers students.

Important! Curriculum Night September 24, 2015
Curriculum night is the September24th. Parents will receive an invitation from the school to attend. You will attend 10 minute sessions for each of your student's classes and meet your student's teachers, hear more about what they will be doing during the year, and learn about student expectations.

The PTSA will have Pass-the-hat fundraiser, one of only two fundraisers the PTSA does (please see our Grants Made page). Please bring cash/check/credit card. This is a quick and easy fundraiser. You don't have to buy or sell wrapping paper or candy, play bingo or attend an event. Just help fund all the of wonderful programs that the PTSA helps make possible.

Newport High PTSA Annouces first 2015/16 School Year PTA meeting

All parents, students and teachers are welcome to attend the PTSA meetings. We meet in the library. If you are not a member of the PTSA, you are welcome to come. If you wish to join we have membership applications available.
