Would YOU host a Spanish student?
We need 5 host families who are eager to open their homes for 3 weeks this summer and share their lives to provide Spanish students a linguistic and cultural immersion experience. Students will live with you and your similar aged teen from June 24th – July 15th. We have 4 female students and 1 male student ages 14-17 years of age.
WISE camps offer exciting chemistry, forensic science and math courses in the morning & afternoon in August for students entering grades 3-9. The camps take place at Newport High School in Bellevue. The science camps are designed to give students hands-on experience with lab equipment and learn basic chemistry (students will learn the chemistry behind fire, tie-dye, color-changing reactions and so much more!). The math camps are designed to excite students about advanced topics with tons of hands-on activities! We just added a brand new camp called "Crime Scene Sleuths!" where students will learn the basic biology, physics, chemistry and math used by real forensic scientists to solve crimes. Cost of the camp includes a t-shirt (chemistry camps will tie-dye!). Lunch on campus is provided for those who choose to do full day & we have early drop off and late pick up options for a small fee. Questions? Contact Mrs. Baker or Mr. Nonis at firstname.lastname@example.org. Register at: www.wisecamps.com. (Last summer all camps sold out and some are already sold out for this summer, so don't wait!)
